I strive to bring the best possible deals to you and in order to do that I spend many hours online researching, collaborating and putting together deals for grocery stores, drug stores, major retailers and more. I also scour the internet for hot deals that would benefit my readers. In order to bring some of these great deals and coupons, I may be compensated for a small amount. I view every offer that I am presented with and make sure that it is something that will benefit my readers. I am very careful not to spam my readers or give them offers that are not of the highest quality.

Bloggers

If you’re a blogger, then you are probably wondering how to monetize your website in order to make the time and effort put into in worth it. I have built great relationships with certain affiliate marketing groups and will list my favorites:

We Use Coupons

I started out learning about couponing by reading online forums. The forums were a great resource for me and have continued to be an excellent resource. The problem with forums is that most readers get lost and frustrated. That is why they follow our blogs. If you visit forums frequently, you can inspire yourself to write interesting articles. Also, if you join the We Use Coupons Affiliate program, you have access to all posts on the forum to re-post to your blog. This is a great resource to help keep your content new and interesting. Visit www.weusecoupons.com to join!

Other Tips for Bloggers

  • Keep your blog neat and tidy – too many ads and too much on your sidebars will deter readers. You want your website to be user friendly and pleasing.
  • Don’t post every deal you find – You will find yourself spending way too much time on your blog and will easily neglect other priorities. Deals will come and go and your readers will be happy with what you do provide them.
  • Network with other bloggers – Don’t worry about loosing readers because your sending them to other bloggers. Readers typically search around for other resources anyway and having a list of other bloggers that you like to follow will also give them more options to find deals that you may not have posted. Another advantage to networking with other bloggers is that you will receive new readers from other blogs.
  • Have a Facebook and Twiter page – Readers find it easier to follow Facebook and Twitter. You can set up automatic posting so that anything you post on your blog will automatically post to Facebook and Twitter. That will help you save time and get into the huge social media circuit. Be sure to post personal messages on your Facebook and Twitter pages. Ask readers to “Like” a post. By getting your readers involved and emotionally attached to you, your more likely to keep them as long term readers.
  • Take a vacation – You will find that blogging requires a lot of your time. Don’t miss out on trips and vacations because you are worried about your blog not staying up to date. The wonderful thing about blogging is that you can schedule your posts to show up on your blog ahead of time. Also, by joining up with other bloggers you can ask them to help you out by posting some things for you on your wall. Don’t let blogging take over your life! The joy of blogging is the ability to have a flexible schedule!

I live in Ohio and follow you. I have learned quite a bit from your website. I was wondering if there are workshops in my area, Dayton OH. If not, could I teach workshops in my area through you. I have my own coupon binder and love it. It is so great. THANKS!!!

I would be willing to come to OH, however, there would have to be a minimum of 100 people. I like the idea of you teaching a Coupon Keri workshop through me. E-mail me at keri@couponkeri.com so we can talk about it. Thanks!
